I have recently had a computer reinstalled. The backup I ran is not accepting my password. Is there a way to get the data from the hard drive or the NTI Backup Software encrypted ZIP drive?

You won't have the possibility to get the data from the NTI Backup Software, that's for sure since no tool was developed for this procedure. As for the recovery from the hard disk, it might be possible, but you will have to connect that hard disk to another computer and then run the recovery solutions.
For this procedure, you can use Recuva as it has good reviews and it also helped me a lot when I accidentally deleted the files.
